The system's core is a dedicated Tyan server platform utilising 2 quad core AMD Opteron processors, 8GB of operational RAM and a RAID1 hardware disk array . All of our services are protected by multi-layer backup copies. The backup is stored on an separate physical server and the backup status is monitored. In addition to a full backup, we also create a secure copy of the most important elements of the system in order to retrieve the freshest possible data if necessary.
